The Role

A leading integrated security systems contractor in Johannesburg is hiring a Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery on a portfolio of CCTV, access control and intruder detection projects across critical infrastructure, commercial estate and high-end residential.

The role is heavily client-facing: scoping, programme management, supplier coordination, and full commercial accountability for project margin. The right candidate will have come up through the industry — engineering background preferred — and be comfortable owning multi-million-rand schemes from kickoff through handover.

Responsibilities

End-to-end project delivery across integrated security systems.
Manage technical engineers, subcontractors and on-site installation teams.
Client-facing programme management and weekly progress reporting.
Commercial accountability for project margin — manage scope changes, variations and cost recovery.
Liaise with consultants, architects and end-clients on integration requirements.

What We're Looking For

5+ years project management in integrated electronic security.
Strong working knowledge of CCTV, access control and intruder detection platforms (e.g. Genetec, Milestone, AC2000, Lenel, Paxton).
SAIDSA, SAQCC or equivalent industry standing.
Comfortable owning commercial conversations with end-clients.
Driver's licence; willingness to travel within South Africa as required.

Package

R 900,000 – R 1,100,000 base, dependent on experience.
Vehicle allowance.
Performance bonus tied to project delivery and margin.
